Circus Smirkus ia a youth circus and summer camp offering young people the oppertunity to learn circus acts, culture and traditions of the traveling circus. Skills taught at the Circus Smirkus summer camp include acrobatics, juggling, balance, aerial acts, performance, and clowning.

Circus Smirkus was founded on a 38 acre farm in the state of Vermont, in 1987 by Rob Mermin.

In 1969 at age 19, Mermin ran off to work with various circus in Europe as a clown where he learned the day to day skills of the circus business.

Circus Smirkus tours through New England states from June untill August.
